Edinburgh Fringe 2027: bring your production to the festival's 80th year

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe runs from 6 to 30 August 2027, the festival’s 80th anniversary year. For 25 days, Edinburgh becomes the largest arts festival in the world. It is open to any company with a show and a venue, which means student and youth groups perform alongside established artists.

Bridges is now planning seven-day Fringe programmes for schools, dance and drama schools, and youth performing-arts groups. Each programme is built around your own production and includes:

  • performances in a registered Fringe venue
  • a technical rehearsal and support with promotion on the Royal Mile
  • tickets to shows by other companies
  • time to explore Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands
  • accommodation, transport and 24-hour UK support

Venues are allocated early, so the planning starts well before August. To secure a venue, we recommend confirming participation by December 2026.

We have done this before. In 2019 we brought Beijing’s Here Dance to the Fringe with their production The Moment.
